Diana Alba began working at the Clark County Clerk’s Office in December 1985 as a District Courtroom Clerk for Department XVI.   During the next 15 years she accepted positions of increasing responsibility, working her way up through various supervisory and management positions.    In November 2000, Shirley Parraguirre appointed Diana to be the Assistant County Clerk, a position Diana held for nearly nine years.   Sadly, Shirley Parraguirre passed away on August 30, 2009.  The Clark County Board of County Commissioners unanimously appointed Diana to fill the unexpired term on September 15, 2009.

Diana is the only candidate with the knowledge and experience needed to manage this important office. She has a thorough understanding of the laws, ordinances and regulations that govern the County Clerk. Over the years, she has earned a reputation for being fiscally responsible, conscientious in following the law, and dedicated to serving the community.

Diana has been married to John P. Alba for 35 years.   Together they have dedicated themselves to serving in the community and raising their four children: Virginia, Cristina, Jeannine and David.
